SERVE OPPORTUNITIES AT VACCINATION CLINICS

Novant Health: Volunteer Clinic Needs

Public Health Medic Clinic: Volunteer Needed to Feed Our Front line Workers

 ***UPDATE***

According to Public Health, all individuals are now eligible to receive their vaccination. If you are looking for a vaccine clinic near you,  please visit HERE

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued emergency use authorizations (EUA) for two vaccines for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccines were developed by Pfizer-BioNTech (ages 16 and older) and Moderna (ages 18 and older). Each vaccine requires two shots. The interval between doses is 21 days for Pfizer-BioNTech and 28 days for Moderna. Currently, Mecklenburg County is administering Phizer-BioTech or Phizer due to our accessability to the freezer requirements.

Below you will find the aligned communication from Public Health, Atrium and Novant around getting the vaccine.
