Volunteer Opportunity at
Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte
Volunteers needed for donation management at Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte. The donation drop off site will be running from Wednesday, Oct. 2nd – Saturday, Oct. 5th from the hours of 10am – 6pm. 2727 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214
The Emergency Operations Center is collaborating with FORCLT and Calvary Baptist Church to mobilize volunteers for on-the-ground relief efforts due to flooding.
Donation Needs:
Drop off Location: 2727 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214
Toiletries (Clean up Items (Tarps, work gloves, trash bags, shovels), Cleaning supplies (Brooms, mops, cleaning solution), bottled water, toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.), new towels (Bath towels and washcloths), and dog and cat food.
Who They Are:
Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte is located in the heart of Riverside and was a first responder during the 2019 flooding in Riverside, which makes them fully equipped to step back in for these relief efforts, in coordination with the Emergency Management Center.
